Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use our website and buy or sell a vehicle through Olasheu Ara Autos.

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of olasheuaraautos.com and any transaction with Olasheu Ara Autos (RC 3482371), 69, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way, Olumo MTN Igbe Road, Oreyo, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. By using this website or buying from us, you accept these terms.

1. Using this website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, copy its content for commercial use, or submit false information. All text, images and branding on this site belong to Olasheu Ara Autos unless stated otherwise.

2. Vehicle listings and pricing

We take care to describe our vehicles accurately, with real photos taken in our yard. Prices are quoted in Nigerian naira and may change without notice. Listings are invitations to discuss a sale, not binding offers. A vehicle is only reserved for you once an agreed deposit is received and confirmed.

3. Inspection

Every buyer is invited and encouraged to inspect a vehicle in person, through a representative, or with their own mechanic before paying. You may also book a test drive through the website. Vehicles are sold in the condition seen and agreed at the point of sale.

4. Payments

  • Payment is by bank transfer or deposit into the registered corporate account of Olasheu Ara Autos. We issue a receipt for every payment.
  • Never pay into a personal account. Always confirm account details with us by phone or WhatsApp before sending money. We are not responsible for money sent to accounts we did not confirm.
  • A vehicle is released only after full payment has cleared, unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.

5. Documentation

We provide the documents applicable to each vehicle, which may include customs papers, proof of ownership, vehicle licence and change of ownership. Where we process registration or change of ownership for you, government fees and agency charges are separate from the vehicle price and are communicated in advance.

6. Delivery and logistics

Delivery within and outside Lagos can be arranged through our logistics partners. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather or road conditions. Unless agreed otherwise, delivery costs are paid by the buyer, and risk in the vehicle passes to the buyer once it leaves our yard.

7. Warranty

Used vehicles are sold as inspected. Any warranty or guarantee on a particular vehicle applies only where it is stated in writing on your sales receipt. Brand new vehicles carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.

8. Returns and refunds

Because inspection is offered before payment, vehicles are generally not returnable once the sale is completed and the vehicle leaves our yard. Where we are unable to supply a vehicle you have paid or deposited for, or where a material fact was misrepresented by us, we will resolve the matter fairly, including refunding the amount paid where appropriate. Deposit refund terms are agreed at the time the deposit is made.

9. Selling a vehicle to us

When you submit a vehicle to us for sale or valuation, you confirm that you are the lawful owner or an authorised agent, that the vehicle is free of undisclosed liens or disputes, and that the details and photos you provide are accurate. Any valuation we give is subject to physical inspection.

10. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact and identification details.
  • Inspect or arrange inspection before making payment.
  • Keep your receipts and vehicle documents safe.
  • Comply with Nigerian road, licensing and insurance requirements after taking delivery.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in any transaction is limited to the amount you paid for the vehicle concerned. We are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of income or inconvenience. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Lagos State. We will always try to resolve issues amicably first.

13. Contact
